How this directory works

Where every listing comes from, what “Valid” and “Lapsed” mean, and how to correct a detail.

Methodology

Listings are imported from PPIB’s published lists of installers certified under the AEDB (Certification) Regulations, 2021, categories C-1, C-2 and C-3. Each record keeps the company name, certificate number, validity date, technology, coverage area, registered address, phone numbers and email exactly as printed. Fax numbers are left out.

The city comes from the registered address only, so a company with branches appears under its head office city. The coverage area is the region the certificate is valid for, not an office address.

“Valid” means the validity date printed on the list is on or after 12 Oct 2026. “Lapsed” means it has passed; many companies renew, so a lapsed listing is not proof that a company is uncertified. Always ask for the current certificate before you sign.

Service tags are added only when a company’s own website lists the service, and the website is linked. ProChuno doesn’t rate installers itself or approve workmanship. Customer reviews are checked before they appear, and the Google button opens the company’s own Google listing.

Lists checked: C-3 list dated 2 Oct 2026, C-1 list dated 25 Oct 2024 and C-2 list dated 24 Oct 2024, all imported on 11 Oct 2026. Company websites checked in October 2026.
