Solar prices in Pakistan (October 2026)

Price ranges for solar panels and lithium batteries from dated, linked market reports. Use them to start a negotiation, not as a quote.

The short answer

Published price reports from the last 60 days (newest 17 Oct 2026):

  • A-grade solar panels: about Rs 38–47 per watt (a 585 W panel at Rs 40/W is about Rs 23,400).
  • Lithium batteries: about Rs 45,000–65,000 per kWh installed, battery only.

Prices are negotiated. In Pakistan the final price depends on brand, grade, wattage, quantity, stock, city, taxes and documentation, and most deals are negotiated. These figures are a starting point, not a quote or an offer from ProChuno, and ProChuno does not sell panels or systems.

From panel price to system price

Panel price × total watts gives the cost of the panels only. A complete system also needs an inverter, mounting structure, wiring, protection, labour and, for net metering, paperwork, plus a battery if you want backup. Installers quote these differently, so compare full written quotes, not panel rates.

Why two quotes for the same panel differ

  • Grade: A-grade panels cost more than B-grade panels, which often come with limited import documentation or warranty.
  • Technology: N-type TOPCon, HJT and back-contact (HPBC/ABC) panels usually cost more per watt than older PERC panels.
  • Quantity and stock: full pallets and current stock are cheaper than single panels or scarce models.
  • City and dealer: rates differ between markets and dealers, and transport adds cost.
  • Taxes and paperwork: check whether GST is included and whether you get a proper invoice for warranty claims.

Quotes from installers on the PPIB certified lists are the reliable price. Find them by city in the ProChuno directory, then read how to choose a solar installer before you pay.

How these prices are collected

Each row is copied from one public price report and links to it, with the date that report gives for its figures. ProChuno does not survey dealers itself and does not average or adjust figures. Ranges in the short answer are the lowest and highest figures across the listed reports. Sources marked “sells systems” are companies that sell solar equipment.

Reports older than 60 days are removed automatically, and this page warns when the newest report is older than 30 days. Inverter prices are not listed yet because ProChuno has not found enough dated, comparable reports.
